William, their son, was born in Mount Stuart at past three oCl (o'clock) in the morning of 18th March 1770. He was christened on 20th April following by Revd Mr. Ireland, Curate of the parish of Howbury, Oxon and of Newry in Ireland. William Nedham and Edward Morant were his godfathers, and Mrs Harriot Browne, godmother (Extract from Nedham Family Bible)
